Anafiotika House, Athens, Greece
This is my painting of a small house in the Anafiotika neighbourhood of Athens, Greece, where we visited in early 2020.
Anafiotika means "Little Anafi" and is named after the original residents who migrated to Athens from the island of Anafi in the 1800s, and then constructed their new homes in the style of those they left behind. This scenic and verdant neighbourhood is located very close to the Acropolis, and forms part of the larger Plaka district.
