This is a painting of the rail overpass near King Street West and Atlantic Avenue in Toronto. It's based on a photo I took in February, during the first serious snowstorm we've had in years. It was only afternoon, but the thick snow made it look like late evening. Cars were spinning their tires as the piles of snow built up, and the plows would take weeks to clear away all the mess.
