Some impressions around my home city of Toronto.
King East Painters, Toronto, Canada
July 2024 · Oil on board · 5" x 7"
This is a painting of two men painting the facade of a building on King Street East in Toronto. This building was constructed in 1890 and is a designated heritage property. After last being used as a diner in the early 2000s, the space sat empty for about a decade. Finally, after the pandemic new owners fixed it up and opened a stylish wine bar. It's great to see this space being used to its full potential once again.
