My name is Gary Smith. I live with my wife Josie in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On this blog you’ll find images of paintings I’ve completed over the past several years, most based on photos I’ve taken around our St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood and surrounding areas. I’m a web developer by profession and I paint only in my spare time, which is not always as plentiful as I would like, but I try to keep at it and gradually improve.

Print Purchases
After a few requests, I have made prints for some of my paintings available for purchase online from a service called DeviantArt.
After selecting a print you may choose from various prices, sizes and framing options at the bottom right. Please note that any purchases through this service are handled directly by DeviantArt and as a result I cannot control the quality of the prints, nor can I resolve shipping problems, negotiate refunds, etc. My share of these purchases is minuscule (roughly $2 to $3 each) so I’m just making these available as a convenience. If you have a particularly great or terrible experience with this service please let me know.
